Spetses Cruise

The most cosmopolitan island of the Saronic Gulf, Spetses, is a very popular destination throughout the year, since it combines a very picturesque scenery ideal for long promenades, or sightseeing on one of the numerous horse-carriages, with a vibrant atmosphere and intense nightlife.

The nautical tradition of Spetses goes back to the Greek Revolution of 1821, when its inhabitants turned their ships into military ones and set the country free. But the blooming of the island started in the Medieval times and some elegant mansions from that time survive till today.
